Around The World In 2009 (well parts of it anyway)

Okay, so I’m thinking about my travel plans for 2010 and thinking I have to try and top 2009 but I’m not sure it’s going to be possible. 2009 was the mother of all years for travel! Here’s why:

January
1 week in Cuba – Havana & Varadero

March
Long weekend in Scotland – Stirling

April (Easter weekend)5 nights in Italy – Rome & Venice

May
3 nights in Hong Kong
11 days in Thailand – Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Koh Samui

July
8 nights in Barbados

August
4 nights in Prague

October
3 nights in Dublin

December
8 nights in Russia – Moscow & St Petersburg

Yip. It’s going to take some doing to beat that … but I’m up for the challenge. Bring it on 2010!

  5. On one recent project I went to NYC, would recommend it if only for three reasons, eating in Grand Central Station very nice and interesting place to visit, catching a NY Knick's game at Maddison Square Garden's and the Guggenheim Museum (excellent architecture and art) all well worth it if the budget allows.
